Connie King, an Associate Architect at MAROTTA/MAIN Architects, recently received the Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP) designation, a mark of excellence developed to reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities of a competent educational facility planner.
On May 25th, Lancaster Catholic High School held a virtual Golden Sledgehammer Ceremony to kick-off the renovation of the top floor of Reilly Hall to consolidate all science classrooms and labs into a state-of-the-art STEM wing.

As we approach our 20th year in business, we are excited to announce that we have opened a second office in Chadds Ford, Delaware County, PA.
MAROTTA/MAIN Architects’ New East Vincent Elementary School project has been chosen to receive a Citation Award for the 2020 AIA Central Pennsylvania, Excellence in Design Awards.

School District of Lancaster’s Buchanan Elementary School new building project is about one year into construction. After a delay from the PA statewide shutdown, the project is making great strides towards completion. This progress video from the General Contractor provides a nice overview of the project.
MAROTTA/MAIN Architects is pleased to announce that their “Flex Classroom” design has been selected to be presented at the 2020 EDspace convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
MAROTTA/MAIN Architects has been working with Mount St. Mary’s University on several projects due to their projected growth and need for space for social activities and academic collaboration.
The Rooney Performance Center is currently in the preliminary design phase with Marotta/Main Architects, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2020.
Thank you to the School District of Lancaster for helping us kick off the first day of construction of the new building a the Buchanan Elementary School! We are very excited to be spearheading this project!
