Solar Barn
Three solar PV arrays produce electricity for the barn and private residence. These solar panels generate more energy than the household requires, so surplus electricity is exported to the local utility company. Operable clerestory windows allow cross ventilation to control airflow through the stalls. The barn includes facilities for three horses, custom storage space for the owner's agricultural and recreational equipment, and an area for the family dog.
