Garnet Valley High School
At the time of this project, the Garnet Valley School District located in Southern Delaware County, was the fastest growing school district in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The existing high school building was enlarged and renovated to meet the educational program requirements in a two phase building program. Phase one included expansion of the core facilities to accommodate student population growth from 800 to 1,600 students. New construction included a performing arts center, cafeteria, gymnasium, library, and art wing to accommodate the eventual capacity of 1,600 students. In addition, a general classroom wing was constructed to accept a second floor addition during phase two of the project. The second and final phase of the building program was completed in 2006.
